Some people have been having problems adding other people as friends. What I have found to be most helpful is what you go to "Friends" and see a user has added you, you must check their name and then approve to add. It will then send you to the bottom of the page where you will HAVE to PUT YOUR EMAIL IN THE MAILINGLIST. If you do not do this it will just keep sending you to the bottom of the page and that person will not be added in an infinite cycle.
